Project Link complements our successful Living Link program, which supports missionaries for cross-cultural ministry. Through Project Link, you can give to specific projects vital to the ministries of the international church, as well as to projects associated with the ministries of our missionaries. These projects are significant to the continuation of essential ministries worldwide.
Project Link gives Global Missions the flexibility to grow and expand to support more projects as approved. Project Link is a self-supporting program with all essential support services included. Normally this is less than 8 percent. Funds will only be disbursed to projects as funds are received.
Benefits
The program benefits both recipients and donors.
- Interdependence with the international Church of God as Global Missions supports the ministries of indigenous churches.
- Greater accountability for use of donations through reporting and oversight.
- Stronger international church: Strong ties will form between international churches and project donors. Funded projects will be ones that the international church itself will participate in supporting. And both the international church and the donors will assume a greater responsibility for these projects.
What you can expect
- Timely and consistent reports about the projects that you support.
- A strong connection between your congregation and the leaders who receive the project funds. Your interest in the country, its leaders, and the national church will grow.
- A regular e-newsletter from Global Missions with news not only about the country that you are supporting but also about other projects and countries around the world.
- Accountability for the use of the funds you provide.
- A certificate representing the link between you/your congregation and the national church you are supporting.
