Application Process

Applying for missionary service is a process. You may begin by completing our on-line interest form and submitting it electronically or mailing in a hard copy. The steps below give you an overview of what you can expect to be asked to do over a given period of time.
 

• Send in the Missionary Service Interest Form or contact the Recruitment Administrator, KSellers@chog.org.

• Complete the preliminary application and personal information forms listing references that may be contacted.

• Meet with our Recruitment Committee for an interview upon invitation.

• Supply screening information—criminal background and credit checks.

• Take a series of psychological tests and consult with a qualified psychologist.

• Explore possible ministry assignment and location with our Recruitment Committee.

• If appointed as a missionary-elect, begin raising support among churches and individuals.
  

 The application process is the same for MAPs and SAMs.
All expenses related to the process are the applicant's responsibility.
