Bridges Curriculum samplesProviding resources for the educational ministry of local church leaders, Warner Press is offering free packets of Bridges Curriculum. These may be picked up at its exhibit in O. C. Lewis Gym during the North American Convention. The current quarter of Bridges material (Summer 2008) is also available for purchase at the exhibit.

Bridges Curriculum draws its name from the fact that these courses bridge comprehensive study of Bible teachings and basic life concerns. It seeks to build bridges of common ministry among widely scattered Church of God congregations. Offering common study themes shared across age levels, it also seeks to build bridges among family members.

The sample packets contain samples of teacher and student study guides and CD-ROMs presenting this material in digital form at three main levels: Elementary (Early, Middle, and Upper), Youth (Middle School and High School), and Adult. Preschool materials are produced by the Nazarene Publishing House under the WordAction imprint.

Sunday school curriculum has been a long concern in the Church of God, the first quarterlies appearing in 1910. Newly prepared and updated materials have appeared each year since then. The Church of God has participated in preparing International Lesson outlines widely used across church lines since that time, with the outlines modified by Church of God editors and writers for use in our fellowship.
