Get a front-row seat at the Global Missions conferences

 God is doing amazing things in his church around the world. The Global Missions conferences at the 2008 North American Convention will give you a front-row seat to stories of changed lives, divine healing, and astonishing opportunities.
The people of the world are congregating in large urban settlings. In cities like Berlin and Hong Kong, you will find people from a multitude of ethnic backgrounds open to the gospel. The “One World, One Mission” conference will consider this as a window of opportunity. Will the church meet the need? Your prayers, your gifts, your missionaries will make the difference.
Your investment in missionaries and their projects means a young pastor will be trained, a baby will receive medical care, a discouraged and lonely woman will find hope in Christ. You have an opportunity to meet your missionaries face to face. See the people you are praying for and in whom your church has invested at the “Meet Your Missionaries” conference.
A man is attacked by thieves, thrown down a cliff, and left for dead. Somehow he makes it home. He believes God spared his life and angels carried him home. A regional coordinator just happens to sit by an Iraqi man on a plane. He says he is an atheist because his Christian friends are hateful. The regional coordinator shares the story of the prodigal son and talks about a loving Father who eagerly welcomes the lost and disgraced—this is true Christianity. How did the Iraqi respond? These are the kind of stories you will hear when you attend the Global Missions regional conferences on Monday and Tuesday.
Missions pastors and local church mission coordinators and their teams will have the opportunity to sit face to face with Global Missions coordinator Bob Edwards to discuss bringing missions to life in the local congregation. Learn the pitfalls to avoid when involving your congregation in missions.
