From across North America and around the world they came, as they have for more than one hundred years, to worship together, fellowship, learn, grow, and conduct the annual business of the Church. And those who attended the 122nd North American Convention of the Church of God in Anderson, June 20-25, experienced the joyful celebration of unity.
"This year's convention has been a wonderful time for worship, fellowship and spiritual growth as we celebrated the unity within the church and the body of Christ, said Dr. Ronald Duncan, general director of Church of God Ministries. "It was truly a blessing to all who attend, whether they came from across the country, around the world, or from right here in Anderson."
And came they did, by the thousands. But in a movement with hundreds of thousands who consider themselves part of the Church of God, coming to the annual convention is not always an option. To help inform all those who were unable to attend, this issue of CHOGnews is dedicated to coverage of the convention.
Below you will find links to the NACroundup, the daily convention newspaper, where you can read about the varied events, activities, and services. In addition, videos of the evening services and General Assembly meetings have been posted online for all to view and can be viewed by clicking here.
We hope this issue of CHOGnews will give you a small taste of NAC and what a blessing attending can truly be. |
