Indiana Ministries announces they have extended a call to Dr. Doug Talley to become their new executive state minister. If ratified by the state assembly, Talley would fill the position previously held by Rev. Bob Moss, who recently accepted the call to be the senior pastor at the Salem Church of God in Clayton, Ohio.
“Following the resignation of Moss, the board of directors organized into a search team to secure new leadership that would keep the momentum rolling that has begun these past couple of years,” said Jerry Yoder, chair of the board of directors. “We communicated nationally our process, received resumes and many recommendations, prayerfully reviewed all of this information…”
“Through our interview process with Doug, and in our numerous communications, we unanimously agreed that Dr. Talley’s academic credentials and professional orientation, his experience and spiritual character, and his personality and attitude are just what we need to lead Indiana Ministries,” added Yoder.
The Indiana Assembly’s bylaws call of a ratification by an 80 percent supportive vote from Church of God congregations within the state. Yoder requests prayer for Indiana Ministries during this period of transition.
