On September 16, 2005, Dr. Ronald V. Duncan, general director of Church of God Ministries, received a letter of resignation from Rev. Albert Grant, director of the Outreach Ministries Team. In tendering his resignation, Grant cited the need for time to focus on personal matters.

As team director, Grant managed, facilitated, and supported the ministries of the Outreach Ministries Team, which includes Global Missions, Mass Media, and Compassionate Ministries efforts. He reported directly to the general director of Church of God Ministries and worked closely with the Resource and Linking Ministries Team director and the Congregational Ministries Team director.

Grant was elected director designate of the Outreach Ministries Team by the Ministries Council of the Church of God in February 2003 and ratified by the General Assembly of the Church of God. Grant assumed his position as director of the Outreach Ministries Team on March 27, 2003. His resignation is effective September 30, 2005.
