The table is set with the bread and the cup. Together, we will gather, not in one lone upper room, but from thousands of locations around the globe, together joined in unity to share the sacraments in a time of remembrance, worship, and celebration. Have you made plans to experience the unifying power of the Communion table in a way the Church of God reformation movement has never known before? Will you simultaneously share the cup and break the bread with brothers and sisters from around the world?
From Decatur to Dumaguete City, Philippines; from Bessemer to Barcelona, Spain; from Columbus to Cairo, Egypt; from Mooresville to Montevideo, Uruguay; congregations from hundreds of cities in the United States and from all corners of the globe will experience the expanse of the Church of God as together the body celebrates the first-ever Global Communion service on Sunday, June 22, 7:00–9:00 PM (EDT) during the North American Convention of the Church of God.
Jim Lyon and Robbie Davis Jr. will host the service as international guests and prominent leaders join in from various locations around the world to be a part of the service. Hundreds of congregations representing dozens of countries have already signed up, with more registering every day. Don’t miss the inspirational moments, the surprise guests, the time of celebration, and the power of our unity as together we worship our Lord through this ordinance.
We welcome your attendance at the service held in Anderson, but we realize that it is not an option for everyone. So we encourage our churches to host their own Communion services and stream the service live from Anderson via the Internet.
