ViewPoint continues the rich legacy of CBH English broadcasting—a legacy spanning more than sixty years—with a new expanded on-air team.  Each week it is heard on radio stations and the Internet, literally around the globe.  We are in touch with listeners everyday via e-mail and phone.  A twenty-four-hour line in North America answers calls from our ViewPoint audience.  A phone bank in London receives calls from our listeners in Europe and the Caribbean.  Every day, the conversation, the sowing, the giving hope, and the reaping continues.

ViewPoint host Jim Lyon originally dreamed of a career in politics and found himself representing northwest Seattle in the Washington State House of Representatives in the early 1980s. But ultimately, it was Christian ministry that claimed his heart. He’s served in pastoral ministry in both the Pacific Northwest and the Midwest. He has been senior pastor at Madison Park Church of God in Anderson, Indiana, since 1991. An articulate preacher, teacher, and motivational speaker, Jim was invited to anchor the ViewPoint broadcast in 1996. It is the conviction that Jesus is at work in this world—redeeming, transforming, and healing us—that has molded his life and vocation more than any other; helping people see Jesus at work in their world has become his life’s work.

Cohost Jennifer “JJ” Wilson brings her winsome personality and passion for healthy relationships and authentic worship to ViewPoint listeners. She holds a degree in elementary education and French from Anderson University, where she serves as chaplain for athletic teams, assists in the French language studies program, and is pursuing a master’s of divinity. A woman of many interests and talents, JJ is an accomplished vocalist and Christian educator. She is also a dedicated wife and mother.

Cohost Kimberly Majeski challenges listeners to find the life-transforming connection between their personal story and the inspiring, ancient story of the Scriptures—captivating audiences with her ability to exposit biblical truths through storytelling that is engaging and uplifting. With a degree in political science, she worked for state and federal congressmen before receiving a call from God to preach. As conference speaker, women’s retreat leader, Bible teacher, pastor, and seminary instructor, her life is all about bringing the Scriptures to life.

Cohost Obadiah Smith, Jr., received his calling to ministry more than thirty years ago, a ministry that has spanned the globe. His passion has always been in caring for the poor and hurting, whether around the world with international relief organizations, through local relief agencies, as chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserves, or as an elder in his local congregation.
